You want to add something to your .htaccess file in the web server, but you cannot see the file in Dreamweaver.
Solution:
By default Dreamweaver didn’t show the hidden files. You need to change the dreamweaver setting to show all hidden files. Below are the steps to do that:
Make sure you have connected to the remote server and open the remote server view. Now look at the FILES panel tab and click on the Options icon (Pic.1).

Now open the View menu and you will see Show Hidden Files (Pic.2). Click it.

Now you can see that .htaccess file is viewable in Dreamweaver (Pic.3).
